We visited the cinema to watch this film.

Set in California, the plot revolves around four older women that hold a monthly book evening where they review a book selected and purchased in turn by each member.

This particular month, Vivian, played by a very attractive 80 year old Jane Fonda, picks '50 Shades of grey', much to the giggles of the other members.

Following their reading of the book, a renewed interest in men is started and we follow each individual on their exploits.
Vivian meets one of her long lost loves in the form of Don Johnson (68). (Yes the Miami Vice hunk is 68.)

Diane, played by Diane Keaton (72), falls for Andy Garcia but is being manipulated by her daughters who think she is well past it. (They are probably right). She plays the same character she played in the 1996 film, ‘First Wives Club’.

Candice Bergen (77) plays a Federal Judge who has not been interested in men since her divorce 18 years earlier, but following the book reading, she joins a dating agency and tries a few new partners out. Her first meeting is with Richard Dreyfuss (70)

Mary Steenburger (65) (who I didn’t recognise) is the only married member of the club, but going through a dry patch with Craig T Nelson (74).

All in all, the film is a good watch and does have some funny bits. Without the stars cast, it would be nothing, but they make it an entertaining film.

Some great looking locations and I must visit Arizona one day.
Lots of innuendos and a few old style jokes make this a good movie to sit at home with a glass of something to drink.
I think I want a large billboard in the back garden with the view from Andy Garcia’s ranch printed on it.

Arizona definitely has some beautiful vistas. My wife has some family in Tucson and I have also been to Phoenix quite a few times. The desert can be gorgeous.
