Stocks Getting Crushed On This TEN 10 2018
So far anyway, will the PPT swoop in & save the day?
Or maybe the sell off will accelerate as the day goes on.
Crypto’s down a little, bond yields moving up slightly but the drop in the major equity indices is clearly the story of the day so far.
Is there blood in the water?
Hahah, you were right! Well, it's not a record breaker, but it could be the start of a bear market? Not even a drop of blood in the water, yet. No sign of the PPT this time. 3% down for the day, not bad!
Looked like the ppt put their resources towards the bond yields today. They had a pretty wild swing up and down as well, which is an interesting anomaly given the environment. Maybe there are too many fires to put out at one time
Then again, maybe they didn't put the fires out today on purpose? After all, if triggering a collapse has been in the cards for 30 years, on today (not yesterday or tomorrow), then surely they wouldn't counter their own efforts.
There could definitely be multiple groups working against each other at that level, looks like some bond rigging or perhaps flight to “safety” today.
Wow, hmmm. To me that means it's probably not over, then. Could be a real disaster of a week for some markets! I'm not an investor in stocks... in fact I am not an investor at all. I'm a saver, so I look for good times to stack up on silver and cryptos, and watch the charts all the time. But I'm not in it to make a profit off other "investors" (or to lose my money to them). I'm into monetary theory and I like to watch economic crisis in action. The stuff in Venezuela right now also really interests me.
Apparently markets are down another 3-5% in afterhours trading... tomorrow could be sloppy!
It's interesting that cryptos didn't react, until 5pm PST (several hours after the stocks crashed). Bitcoin fell from 6550 to 6055 in one hour. Steem back to 80c. Cryptocap down to 200B. Fuckin crazy the total value of all cryptos isn't even a quarter trillion?!
& lots of Asian markets dropping big reds, curious to see what the euros do but gotta sleep sometime!
I always keep an eye on crypto prices, but haven’t closely since they’ve been in the 6000-7000 channel
Stocks recovered their overnight losses today, cryptos still flat since the fall last night, PMs moved a bit up today. Might be a dead cat bounce though.
Looks like more of a traditional flight to safety trade today. Gold & silver doing very well, bond yields going down, sending money back to the stocks. An interesting dance going on between the pressure on equities & bond yields
