Thanks - Another Bushfire Post

I know I've been pushing the Tasmanian Bushfire wagon for a little while now, but I feel the need to post about once more.

There are still fires burning, and by all accounts they will continue to do so now, primarily because they are in areas that are pretty well inaccessible, but for now the danger seems to have passed.

My father in law, and many others, have returned to their homes and the cleanup has begun.

This post, is essentially a thankyou. Thankyou first and foremost to the Tasmanian Fire Service. Without these brave souls (many of which are volunteers) my father in law, and many others, would have almost certainly lost their homes..or worse.

Secondly, the volunteers and council staff running the evacuation centre. You all did am absolutely amazing job.

Finally, thank all of you, who have read and supported my ramblings on this topic. Having an outlet during this stressful time wavery helpful for me on a personal level.

If any of you, dear readers, are planning a trip to Tasmania this year, please take some time to visit the Huon Valley. This is generally a high tourist area, and these fires have had a significant impact on the livelihoods of many people in the tourism industry.
