Workout - 8/13/2018

Good morning, my friends!

Chris and I wrapped up a full week of hard training (6 days in a row!) and enjoyed a full-on, balls-to-the-wall relaxing rest day yesterday :)

As much as we enjoyed recovering and letting our bodies rebuild, here we are on Monday morning planning our workout for the day... So we thought it might be fun to share one with you guys that we did with our clients this morning!

Give this a try and feel the burn!

:20on/:10off/:30on/:15off/:40on/:20off

:40on/:20off/:30on/:15off/:20on/1:00off

  • Split Squats

  • Bicycle Crunch

  • Double Leg Mountain Climbers

  • Hollow Rock

  • Popcorn Lunges

  • Side Plank Hip Dip


*Note: just to clarify, this is a pyramid-style workout - perform all the intervals back to back until you've completed both lines of the timing scheme. I just broke it up into two lines to make it easier to read :) Do the whole timing scheme for one movement at a time before going on to the next one. Also, for unilateral movements, do the first half (the first line) on one side, then switch to the other side for the second half (the second line of intervals).

Let me know what you guys think! This is a workout that can be done anywhere, anytime :) That's part of the beauty of bodyweight workouts - whether you're at home, on the road in a hotel, on the beach, in a park, or somewhere else entirely, you can get a great workout in. There are no excuses not to do it!
