Random Bodybuilding competition
I ride a bicycle everywhere that I go. The parking for bikes at the nearest massive shopping mall has an area for parking bikes that is not near the other parking areas. I entered the mall and went to the shops that I had planned to go to when I noticed something out of the ordinary. I saw a shirtless, very fit Thai man walking around inside the mall.
I thought it was odd because Thais (like many other Asians) are very modest and would normally never be shirtless anywhere other than the beach (many times they don't even do it there.) I let it go but then when i left the first shop I noticed several more shirtless, very fit Thai men walking about the mall.
I thought I might be asleep and this was a strange dream but then I walked out front and found out there was an event taking place that I was unaware of. Apparently this is an annual event and there was a bodybuilding competition going on.
I was actually a bit relieved to find out that I had not lost my mind and there was a real reason for these shirtless gentlemen to be wandering the Central Festival Shopping Mall.
I exercise, a lot. Even though these guys are probably 15-20 years younger than I am I have to admire the amount of dedication that they put into this. Asian men are normally quite small, so the level of commitment that they would need to have in order to achieve this level of muscle growth must be incredible. I don't understand the bronze oil though as it looks particularly absurd on the guys who are quite light skinned naturally.

There were even a few (what i would consider overly) enthusiastic spectators that were using resistance bands in the crowd to get as "pumped up" as possible in the crowd despite the fact that they were not even participants.
And of course there were opportunities to take photos with the people involved in the competition.
I didn't stick around for long because well, once you have seen 12 dudes flex for 5 minutes I think you have seen all this show has to offer. I have no idea who won. I hope it was one of the guys whose heads were very different colors than the rest of their bodies.
Very funny and agree the funny skin tone color lotion is there to highlight the muscles. It looks odd and is like a fake tan. Just seems odd having this type of contest in a shopping center. Glad you haven't lost your mind and realised there was a contest.
Their white faces are pretty hilarious against the tan chests. It's like they stopped and thought to themselves, "we aren't planning to wear very unattractive speedos, so how else can we make our otherwise beautiful bodies unattractive?" And then someone held up a bottle of that bronze stuff.
Honestly though, I think I could get passed the mismatched parts and still enjoy watching some flexing for more than 5 minutes ;)
if you look closely it appears as though a great many of them do in fact skip leg day.
Skip leg day, lol. I had never heard that one before.
Very funny! Hahaha! So you though you were dreaming and that reality is just a dream!

Certainly a first as far as seeing ripped Asian men goes. I really don't get the bronze skin though
Goodness me! The fact that Asians are naturally minimal in body size wasn't really a barrier for this guys, that's never a photoshop because it's frigging real. My! I guess hard work pays really
