Workout Session #10

After almost a month of not exercising with my personal trainer, today we met. We both decided to go a little bit slower with my lower body exercises, and primarily concentrate on my upper body during the workout.

We used several weightlifting machines to work on my arms and abdominal muscles. I also walked on the treadmill and did some cycling to warm up.

After my workout I had some chia and hemp seed protein bars that I had made on yesterday. To save money and to control the ingredients, I’ve decided to start making my own protein bars.

Plant Romance posted the recipe on Instagram and I decided to make it and change it up a little. In addition to the ingredients listed below, I added hemp seeds, walnuts and a teaspoon of cashew butter. They were so delicious and I will definitely make them again.

Tomorrow I am going to a different gym to try aquatic exercising, led by a different instructor. Hopefully the water will be a little kinder to my knees.
