This is My entry for the 🌸 FLOWER POWER PHOTO CONTEST BY FLAMINGIRL 🌸
I took this picture in the garden of Cezanne's studio in Aix en Provence. Flowers has the concept of simplicity and depth in colors and shapes. I remember what Matisse said that depth and simplicity are directly proportional. For this reason the painter sought simple shapes that had a depth of meaning! Now I understand the vulgarity and mental complication of those who have the depth of the marsh! Certain gestures and certain behaviors demonstrate the grim superficiality of the individual who does not have the intrinsic possibility of self-improvement!
