My entry for the 🌸 FLOWER POWER PHOTO CONTEST BY FLAMINGIRL 🌸 - Friday entry
And here goes my entry for today. One of the coolest flowers I've ever seen; one that is not the typical flower, but really useful too.
Monkey cups are tropical carnivorous plants, belonging to the Nephentes genus. Inside they have a sweet liquid that atracts insects, and when they come to investigate... lunch time!
This was the first time I've seen them in the wild! The photos were taken in a cloudy forest in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia.
