Flower Power Photo Contest hosted by @flamingirl is a wonderful opportunity for steemians to express their feelings towards flowers.

For the last day of this floral competition, I decided to post some common daisies.
Having their name inspired from the sun, daes eag in Old English (eye of the day), these tiny and cheerful flowers always open at sunrise.
Part of the Compositae family, daisies can be found everywhere except Antarctica.
Symbol of purity and innocence, daisies make the perfect gift for youngsters, especially teenage girls. Not to mention their healing powers and the fact they are edible.
Everybody lovees daisies. 🙂
