My entry #3 for the "Flower Power Photo Contest by Flamingirl" (Day 5)
Kerria japonica is a decorative shrub with thin inclined branches, graceful leaves and bright yellow flowers. Kerria's flowers, terry or plain, reminiscent of miniature roses. Kerria blossoms lasts from spring to mid-summer. Because the shape of the flower of this plant resembles a rose and the is fact that its early flowering period in Europe falls on Easter, Kerria is also called the Easter rose. In Ukraine, Easter this year will take place in two weeks, and I think that by this time Ceria will already blossomed and her beautiful yellow flowers will admire the eye.
