Red and wild tulips! 🌺
I love to see them in the fields with their delicate and satiny red flowers, it is a sign that we have arrived in the Spring, that is when they bloom! 🥰

Originating from the Middle East was brought to Portugal by the Romans along with wheat.🌾
Its petals have medicinal and alimentary application, being able to be consumed in salads, as well as the seeds... 😃

These I found in the city on the walk today in search of flowers! 🧐

What a beautiful surprise! 😍
