#Ulog # 18: "FOMO - Husband of FOMA?" | The 6th Steemgigs Discord Talk Show Experience

I admit when I first read about "FOMO" about a year ago, I just scratched my head, 'cause I don't get it, there's no explanation on the article I've read. So I just dropped it without searching what it means. I was just thinking that FOMO is the husband of FOMA. haha.

Then last December I found the answer:

Fear of missing out or FoMO is "a pervasive apprehension that others might be having rewarding experiences from which one is absent". This social anxiety is characterized by "a desire to stay continually connected with what others are doing". FoMO is also defined as a fear of regret, which may lead to a compulsive concern that one might miss an opportunity for social interaction, a novel experience, profitable investment or other satisfying events.In other words, FoMO perpetuates the fear of having made the wrong decision on how to spend time, as "you can imagine how things could be different"

I actually missed the peak of most Cryptos, but I got no fear 'cause I have no idea about it, hehe.

What's important is what we do today & tomorrow.

According to Sir Terry/ @surpassinggoogle:

too much fomo = mo

Let's try to dig a little bit and try to negate the equation:

-(FOMO=MO)

"too much" will be removed, & have no fear of missing out then you won't miss out.

6th Steemgigs Discord Talk Show

It was my 6th experience on the Steemgigs Talk Show, each week you'll see the difference on the show and to the attendees.

That's the kind of show we all love, many steemians were present 70+ Steemians I think were there listened and learned to Sir Terry's Talk.

@nexrules was there on the show, he always give the pointers discussed by Sir Terry. It was like he take down notes and do the minutes, hehe. Thanks for that bro.

After Party

It was like Steemgigs Got Talent as other steemians say. Many talented steemians were there, Sam Smith was there, oh it's @garygabby sang Lay Me Down, @phantum04 also sang, let's wait for the recording,haha, Sir Terry sang the "Brown Eyes" with his falsettos, very nice sir. Madam @bloghound you have that lovely voice, the beautiful @dynamicshine was there don't know if she sing maybe I fell asleep that time,hehe Thanks to her sharing post from @guri-gure , Our friend @sn0white was also there as always. @darrenclaxton & @edprivat (very nice voice you have there), @dynamicgreentk dropping lots of Avocados there. @glenyosores was there I thought they will have a duet with madam @mermaidvampire, maybe next time,hehe. I can't remember the guy that sound like a girl who sang "Kalbo" by Jordin Sparks. Oh sorry it's "No Air", haha. Who will forget @josediccus he was the last performer, He's the man! haha. My honey @el-dee-are-es was there, for the first time she was there until the end of the show.

Sir @QuocHuy also was there, he has a witness :-), he played his ukolele, that was very lovely and relaxing to listened to. But wait have you watched @snook's video?

The Talk Show plus the after-party last for more than 10 hours. I recorded the whole show then after the last words of Sir Terry I checked my phone which I used to do the recordings.(10 hours & 37 minutes)

The file was corrupted. My initial reaction? I laughed really loud,haha. Instead of getting disappointed i laughed, maybe that's the effect of the show.

I tried to recover or repair the file

I only got this:

It was playing but with that green thing was on the screen and only 9 hours, 12 minutes & 49 seconds were recovered and the audio was not that clear.

Anyone who can help me here,haha.
