A relatively new hotpot place opened in the food court at the basement of HDB Hub. My wife and I decided to give it a try sometime back.

点了菜后，我们去拿酱料。
We were seated next to another couple and were not too happy about it because the place was quite empty and they had to squeeze us next to this couple where the man was having sniffing nose and kept looking my food.
他们让我们坐在一对男女隔壁。这有点不爽因为当时没什么人却让我们挤在那里。 隔壁那男的一直流鼻涕还常瞄我的食物。

The food was OK but I had the idea that they squeeze us with people when there are so many more seats available. Not going to be back soon. There is a new hotpot place open nearby anyway.
那餐吃起来味道害不错但就是不爽他们让我们挤在那里。不会那么快先回去吃。 反正，附近还开了一家新的火锅点。

I have yet to try hot pot if you can beleive it. There is a place near my house that will even bring you your meat on a Barbie doll. I am afraid I would make a mess of it.
They probably sat you next to the sniffly guy in an attempt to keep the restaurant looking clean. Hopefully the guy just had too much hot sauce in his food:)
I think they wanted to try to make it look like they have business.
We are seated near enough the entrance so people can look in and see they have customers. I think they should pay us for advertising. :-)
