Good morning steemit. You may have wondered where I have been the past 17 days. No, I haven't forgotten about steem or crypto now the markets have turned into a bloodbath. I still believe in the power of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and steemit.

Life just got so busy I haven't been able to come on here and say hello, post recipes and check out my fav steemit foodies. The bakery is running smoothly, we settled in into our new home, and had a blast of a few party days to celebrate one of my best friends 40th birthday.

Some of you might remember that Wednesday and Thursday are our 2 days off, and the best part we have planned to do absolutely nothing and enjoy our new home with 4 hectares of tropical nature and plenty of fruit trees. Pics will follow soon. I even haven't had time to take out my camera and explore this pieces of tropical bliss.

But enough about our adventures. How have you all been? Exciting things happened on your side of the world. I will do my best to catch up with all of you in the coming days, but first things first.....GREEN SMOOTHIE TIME!

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2 FOR BREAKFAST)


3 cups fresh moringa leaves (or use spinach instead)
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
2 big apples, core removed
1 big banana
1/2 inch ginger, peeled (or add to taste)
1-2 tbsp hemp hearts (save some for topping)

DIRECTIONS


  1. Blend moringa and almond milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick, add more water or almond milk and blend again until smooth. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  2. Optional: Top with extra hemp hearts or other superfoods/toppings you like.
