How To Start To Like Salad

Salad has been considered as a healthy way to eat vegetables,because vegetables are still natural and do not reduce the nutritional content caused by the cooking process that is too long.

Many people also consider salads as a good food for the diet process and start a healthy lifestyle. But the problem is to like the taste of vegetables that are natural without contaminating a lot of spices and the cooking process is certainly not easy.

Especially for Indonesian people who are accustomed to the strong taste of food that comes from many spices.

How to learn to like salads for those who don't like vegetables is by adding a protein that has a strong spice flavor.

For example, like the simple food I made. I have quite a lot of Lettuce that I can't afford if it's only served as an ordinary salad.

I feel bored and need to find another alternative to spend this Lettuce. Finally I decided to add chicken pieces with curry spice and mayonnaise.

Apparently it tastes quite good, and in my opinion it is suitable for people who are not used to eating salads. Such methods are similar to the habits of Indonesians who eat raw vegetables with a blend of proteins flavored with chili sauce.

Of course if there is chili sauce, everything will feel more enjoyable for the people of Indonesia. Usually we as Indonesian people eat raw vegetables such as cabbage, purple eggplant, lettuce, and basil, along with chicken and chili sauce which is very spicy.

Salad telah dianggap sebagai cara sehat untuk mengonsumsi sayuran, karena sayuran masih alami dan tidak berkurang kandungan nutrisinya yang disebabkan oleh proses memasak yang terlalu lama.

Banyak orang juga menganggap salad sebagai makanan yang bagus untuk proses diet dan memulai gaya hidup sehat. Tetapi permasalahannya adalah untuk menyukai rasa sayuran yang alami tanpa terkontaminasi banyak rempah dan proses memasak tentu saja tidak mudah.

Terkhususnya bagi masyarakat Indonesia yang terbiasa dengan rasa makanan yang kuat yang berasal dari banyak rempah-rempah.

Cara belajar menyukai salad bagi yang tidak menyukai sayuran adalah dengan cara menambahkan protein yang memiliki rasa rempah yang kuat.

Contohnya seperti makanan sederhana yang saya buat ini. Saya memiliki lumayan banyak Lettuce yang tidak sanggup saya habiskan bila hanya dengan disajikan sebagai salad yang biasa.

Saya merasa bosan dan butuh mencari alternatif lain untuk menghabiskan Lettuce ini. Akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk menambahkan potongan ayam dengan bumbu kari dan mayones.

Ternyata rasanya cukup enak, dan menurut saya cocok bagi orang-orang yang belum terbiasa memakan salad. Cara-cara seperti ini mirip dengan kebiasaan orang Indonesia yang memakan sayuran mentah dengan perpaduan protein yang dibumbui oleh saus cabai.

Tentu saja jika ada saus cabai, semua akan terasa lebih nikmat bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Biasanya kami sebagai masyarakat Indonesia memakan sayuran mentah seperti kol, terong ungu, selada, dan kemangi, bersama ayam dan saus cabai yang sangat pedas.

I grew up with it. 💚 My Oma & Opa lived in Indonesia 1920 to 1947. We always eat & cooked Indonesian food when I was young. Lovely to know you.on steem too!! Hoping to come down sometime & revisit my father's family places. And I have an itch to visit Sulawesi & Borneo. Soon.... I hope. 💜

I adore gado gado too @artemislives, and find it easy enough.

We have been eating alot of salad lately @anggreklestari.. a lot of summer vegetables coming out the garden. Tomato, cucumber, peppers, chilli, parsley, basil, zucchini.. all chopped in a bowl and maybe halloumi (A Greek cheese) or fried tofu or tempeh on top, a splash of vinegar... takes me ten minutes and it's so yummy and healthy.

Yes, just add some nice meat and chili... 10/10 works. As much as I like salads with only vegetables these variants never fail to let me drool 🥗
