Bak Kut Teh : Every body part of a hog has it's use..

Have you all heard of the term, "every body part of a hog has it's use"? Well we never heard of it either, it's just something that we made up. Haha! But we think that term is true though, in the Philippines they even use the blood for cooking and it's a damn good dish too but we'll get to that next time. Here we have Bak Kut Teh, which is a herbal tea soup made out of pork meat, fat, insides and the bones of the pig. Majestic these hogs are, they are not even stupid like how cartoons picture them. In fact, they are one of the most intelligent animals around. The soup broth that we have here is perfect to have at any time of day but particularly perfect if the weather is cold and dreary. Serve it up with a plate of white rice and you're good to go!
