The Cheesesteak Factory
Sunday was a busy day for us.
Hubby got cracking and mowed the lawn, and I decided to catalogue the books to get them ready for Ebay.
Before we knew it, it was way past lunch time and we were both up for a treat.
The Cheesesteak Factory
The Cheesesteak Factory is located at Lawson only a few minutes short drive away from home and one of our go to places for food.
It's been a while since we've been here and a lot has changed!
For starters the menu is a lot bigger and they're now serving burgers.
There's a whole retail corner filled with sauces and chips.
There's more American lollies on the counter.
Sadly no Hot Tamales.
A hell of a lot of American soda as well.
But despite the new menu and new drink options we are creatures or habit, and we went with our old favourites.
Two Texas Cheesesteaks
Scotch fillet steak, grilled onion, house made coleslaw, texas bbq sauce & your choice of cheese
One with cheddar cheese (mine)
One with swiss cheese (hubby's)
Onion rings with Jalapeno mustard
Cookies & Cream and Chocolate Thickshakes
We also got two Sweet Potato scallops (no pics) and took everything home and watched Mortal Engines.
Sure we could have had it all at the shop but nothing like food and a movie and a lounge to pass out on after a good feed.
As far as the food went it was all better than our last visit.
The bread was softer and bigger, the toppings were layered differently which we thought was a better move since everything was a soggy mess before.
The flavours were still there although I wish they kept the jalapenos and pickles diced instead of the chunks we got.
The onions rings and the sweet potato scallops were beautiful and as usual the thickshakes 👌👌👌
Everything was so good! 🤤 We'll definitely be back but I think next time I'll be getting a burger. Cos if the rolls we're that good, I'm excited about the burgers.
Side note...
Who's seen Mortal Engines?
I fell asleep halfway through it and we still need to finish it today but from what I've seen so far seems pretty cool in a steampunk kind of vibe.

Lolol yes but only cos I forgot I cant have cinnamon. Apparent not good in copious amounts for preggo ladies.

Yea definitely do that, Mexican pop, real cane sugar I believe, love it and Mango is legit too.

I can't say if I've had that one for sure but I've never been disappointed, lime is money though.
