Night Markets in Malaysia

in #food6 years ago

Some of the best treasures in Malaysia can be bought at the Night Markets. Brought the family there for a visit and here is a quick look at the amazing stuff you are able to get from there . Not only the prices are cheap ( compared to the hyper-marts ) , however the products are way fresher then others.

From vegetables to fruits to even seafoods like fish, crabs and loads more. This was 9pm and it was filled with loads of people doing their groceries.

Almost every single bundle here cost RM5 ( USD1.3 ) Its literally almost everything you want in one place. All the vegetables are about RM1 ( USD0.25 ) per bundle.

Loads of fresh fish at night ! A very common scene at the markets only in the morning. Hardly you can find it at nights.

Dragon Fruits .. only RM10 for 5 ! At the hyper-marts its normally about RM7 each ! Especially the red ones

Jungle Durians !! The King of Fruits ! Cheap ... i didn't buy any though but was really tempted. Perhaps next visit.

Conclusion

Well .. those are just some of the stuff you can get at the Night Markets. This particular one was in Puchong. Below is the pinned location of where it is if you are keen on checking it out. I'm not sure if its open every night however go there on a Saturday night and you are sure find something of your liking.

I totally love asian culture food and enviroment how they are beautifull.

Yea... We still love the simplicity in life and in our foods

@bitrocker2020 Wow looks very nice, I think it is a very big market, it's true that marketing at night is different from the market, and in particular there is no such thing as a big market, I can buy everything in one place, buy vegetables from the market at night. Like to do, you just do not take pictures ?? Bought something ??PicsArt_06-30-06.46.00.png

Yea... Bought tons of grocery. Enuf for at least a weeks plus

@bitrocker2020 Thank you very much, sir, you have responded to my comments, yes you are right, the small things in our house are bought at least per week, for that minimum per week is to go to the market once,

Malaysia Boleh!!

I love crossing the causeway to M'sia ..
The night market has a lot more character than the Pasar Malam in SG .. here everything is so regulated .. even the pasar malams feels so tamed!

Was in JB last Mon and enjoyed the night mkt along the KSL mall. A lot of interesting food!

That's excellent. My honest opinion the markets in SG.. The stall operators are either always angry or impatient 😂😂 but that's just me.

Haha .. Impatient .. that's a good description!
In Singapore .. land is scarce .. patience is even scarcer!!
