PUMPKIN CREAM.

Pumpkin cream is healthy and delicious, low in calories and rich in nutrients, it can be consumed by children as young as adults, prepared with milk or without milk, both are excellent, if the taste varies a little. You can also add other vegetables such as: potatoes, celery, chicken broth, and so vary the flavor.


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg of pumpkin
  • Coriander.
  • Garlic.
  • Onion.
  • Butter.
  • A cup of water.

PREPARATION:

  • Wash and cut the pumpkin into pieces, without removing the shell or skin, add a pinch of salt, put to cook until it softens.

  • While cooking pumpkin, spades, cilantro, onion and garlic.

  • Let the pumpkin cool and with a spoon remove the shell or skin, to take it to the blender.

  • Add the rest of the ingredients, some water, milk or chicken broth. This recipe I made it with water, liquefy everything, then all the preparation take it to a pot and cook a few minutes.

  • Remove from the heat the cream and serve, alone, with cilantro, with cheese or toasted bread. I leave the different presentations, everything to the taste of each one.
