Hey folks @cryptokraze here with my new Blog about Food and Health awareness in which I will highlight the health benefits associated with Cardamom. We should add variety of foods in our diet because they have bio-active components in them that help in preventing many diseases and provide other health benefits.

Health Benefits of Cardamom

The most popular health benefits of cardamom are listed below:

Protects Heart Health

Studies conducted by the Department of Pharmacology of Saudi Arabia, have shown that cardamom is good for cardiovascular conditions resulted in a lower heartbeat, and control of hypertension. The micronutrients found there can counteract the influx of blood lipids into the body.

Anti-depressant

The cardamom fruit is also considered to have antidepressant properties. Its essential oil is one of the main oils used in aromatherapy. It can be used not only for depression but also to treat various other diseases, from stomach diseases to lung diseases.

Prevents Gastrointestinal Diseases

Cardamom is traditionally used in Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and Unani systems as medicines for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. The methanol extract from this herb is a component that helps control gastrointestinal diseases such as acidity, flatulence and stomach cramps.

Anti-spasmodic & Anti-inflammatory Properties

Cardamom is good for muscle and joint pains. Older people often report muscle spasms. Sudden muscle contraction causes this paralysis. When the muscle contracts, it can cause sudden pain. The researcher concluded that cardamom can be used as a control measure for muscle spasms. Recent experimental evidence indicates that soybean meal has anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties.

Dental Care

Cardamom has been used in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine for dental problems for hundreds of years. After the discovery of antibiotics, these antibiotics have been found to have mixed effects as well as side effects. Some side effects include the inhibition of beneficial probiotics that develop in the intestines. However, on the other hand, the use of perfumes is desirable because they inhibit only infectious microorganisms and do not inhibit probiotics.
