Ulog #119: Chilli Beef Gravy Cheeseburger
One of my favorite and a few sloppy joe fans favorite has got to be the Chilli Cheeseburger!
It's a salty and savoury beef chilli gravy that's cooked for hours low and slow on the stove top. The slow simmering gets all the flavors to marry and infuse into the beef chilli making a delicious and mouthwatering gravy that'll go good on top of almost any carb.
We also serve this on our onion rings, fries, nuggets, potato smileys and well, anything that has starch in them is gonna be good with this. You basically are just using them to transport the delicious gravy into your mouth.
Most commonly, we put in on top of our cheeseburger patties and thats one of the crowd favorites.
Some of the ingredients that I can disclose in the gravy are, tomatoes, onions, garlic, minced beef of course, smoked paprika, cumin, turmeric, worchestershire sauce and a few more secret ingredients.
It has a lot of Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine influences as they are my all time favorite cuisines. I use them in here to spice up an ordinary chilli to an interesting one.
