ENJOY WHAT YOU EAT - BANANA CAKE!
Hello steemians, it's been a while since I posted my last blog. Have you ever eat a banana cake before? Oh, I must say it so delicious and so aromatic! The texture, moist and buttery the cake is, makes you don't want to stop eating.
Banana cake is one of the easiest cake to make yet very delicious! The smell of ripe banana, aromas and the fragrance of banana cake wafting in the kitchen. The recipe is very easy. The more bananas the better! I eat two slices of banana cake with a cup of tea while enjoying the evening sunset. Every bite is heavenly!
You can make your homemade banana cake too! Because you can make a better taste than the store-bought version.
BASIC MOIST BANANA CAKE RECIPE
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and grease a cake pan with a butter/ margarine.
Next, whisk flour and baking powder together in a bowl and set aside.
Beat the eggs and sugar till very, very light and creamy.
Pour in mashed bananas and continue beating with electric mixer till very thick. ( Beat it for 10 minutes)
Using a hand whisk, mix in the flour mixture till everything is nice and homogenous.
Next, fold in the banana essence and oil and mix well.
Pour into your prepared pan and bake for around 35 - 40 minutes.

Hey @debbie89, banana cake is one of my faves! So moreish, isn't it?! I'm a fellow baker and I like to add cinnamon or even chocolate chips too - they're great additions if you fancy it :) Thanks for sharing this recipe!
