Cream Cheese Brownies - Layered Cake
Cream Cheese Brownies... thick and chewy chocolate and cream cheese layers!
I just so in love with cheese cake, and I also love brownies, combine them together and I enjoy every bite of these desserts haven, and so did my hubby.
I used my normal brownie recipe as a starting point, and of course as always I love to add in some coffee in the batter to brings up the flavour. And...the idea of layers cream cheese that takes brownies to the next level.
Whether you are a chocolate or cheesecake fan, these brownies are super easy to make!

INGREDIENTS
For Brownies:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup coco powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup coffee
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 50 g dark chocolate bar
- 1/2 cup condense milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
For Cream Cheese:
- 125 g cream cheese
- 50 g icing sugar
- 50 g flour
- 1 egg
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Making The Cream Cheese batter
In a mixer bowl, place all the ingredients, cream cheese, icing sugar, flour, egg.
Blend them together until smooth, put aside.
Step 2: Get Ready the dry ingredients
- In a bowl, put together the flour, coco powder, salt and baking powder.
- Sift them to make sure there’s no clumps
- Put aside
Is it necessary to sift the flour?
you might notice that flour can get clumpy and stick together when you keep them for quite long time in the cupboard.
This is why sometimes is better to sift the flour.
Step 3: Get ready the coffee and melt the chocolate bar
- All you need is just a teaspoon of coffee and pour half cup of boiling water.
- Mix the vegetable oil and chocolate bar, and melt in the microwave.
Step 4: Making The Brownies Batter
Beat the eggs and sugar until white and fluffy.
- Make sure the eggs and sugar mix are fluffy and white (beat for about 8-10 minutes)
- Add in the dry ingredients (flour mix) and mix them well.
- Add in coffee, mix well.
- Add in chocolate melted, mix well.
- Add in condense milk
- Mix well until become smooth batter.
Step 5: Prepare The Brownies
- Turn on the oven to 350 degrees F heat.
- Get ready the pan and top with baking papers
- Pour about 1/4 cup brownie batter into the corner of the pan, and bake for about 8-10 minutes.
- Take it out from the oven, and pour the cream cheese batter on top of the brownie batter, bake again for about 5 minutes.
- Next, repeat until the batter is finished.
- For the last layer, cover up the top with cream cheese batter
- Baked again for another 35 minutes.
Do always check it out using a toothpick to make sure the brownie is well baked.
Cut and serve!
