Shiny Fudgy Crackly Tops Brownie || Baking Recipe
Learn the tricks for making the best fudgy brownie with crackly tips! A step by step picture are included.
Hello Chocoholic!
It’s been a while since I made a homemade brownie.
And these rich, dense, fudgy brownie with a shiny tops are worth the effort!
So, what type of brownies do you like??...
I wasn’t sure about the science behind getting crackly tops of the brownie before, until I found a recipe on Instagram.
There are two very important things I’ve figured out on how to make brownie with crackly tops:
- Couple months ago, when I made brownies with just coco powder, my brownies were more cake-like, it was fudgy but didn’t have any shiny tops. So, You’ll definitely need to use some of the baking coco powder and dark chocolate in your recipe to get the crispy crackly tops
- Secondly, you’ll need to cream the sugar and eggs mixture until fluffy (beating about 5 minutes on high speed) This would add a lot of air into the mixture and allows a crispy layer to form on top of the brownie.
NOTES:
Do not over mix after adding the dry ingredients. Or else, it will change the texture of the brownie.
And, Here are the steps:
Step 1
To prevent lumps, strains all the dry ingredients together in a deep mixing bowl. Set aside.
Step 2
In a deep mixing bowl, beat the eggs and brown sugar until fluffy.
Step 3
Melted the dark chocolate and butter in microwave.
Step 4
Add in the Dark chocolate & butter mixture into the eggs & sugar mixture.
Step 5
Add in The Canola oil.
Step 6
Add in the honey.
Step 7
Add in the vanilla extract.
Step 8
Add in the coffee.
Step 9
Add in the dry mixture.
Mix everything until just combined.
Remember, Do Not over mix.
Step 10
Pour the batter into baking pan line parchment paper.
Last Step!
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.
Or, check using a toothpick inserted comes out covered sticky crumbs.
Let it cool down before you cat the brownie into square pieces.
And, here we go! you’re DONE!!
