Hello steemians, I hope you are very well, today I come to share with you a healthy recipe, I am sure that many people have read that excess carbohydrates are harmful as they quickly turn into sugar generating glucose peaks, this causes the body to react quickly and the pancreas generates insulin to neutralize glucose (this repetitive process affects the pancreas and is detrimental to our health), bread is one of the most consumed carbohydrates and the one that we abuse the most because this recipe is very useful since the bread 100 % whole is digested slowly which prevents glucose peaks.

Ingredients for the dough:

• 750g of whole wheat flour
• 2 cups of water
• 20g of fresh yeast
• 1 tablespoon of sugar
• ½ teaspoon of salt
• ½ tablespoon of oil

For the filling:

We can add almost any nut, nut, almond, pistachio, etc. You can also add raisins, cranberries, plums and for decoration sesame seeds and flax.

Process

• The first thing we should do is to warm the water, we add the 20g of fresh yeast the spoonful of sugar and a spoonful of flour, maybe they ask good because if it is a healthy bread you add sugar, calm that small amount of sugar is the food of the yeast. We wait for the yeast to activate, they will know when this happens because a layer of foam forms in the mixture.

• The next step is to mix the rest of the ingredients with your hands or a palette in a container: Flour, salt, oil and water with the yeast already fermented, at this time you should also add the filling of your choice ( I do not add any because in my country nuts cost a fortune)

• Then knead for 5 minutes, this dough is very easy to knead as it is not sticky, at the end we give it a sphere shape and place it in a container and cover it and let it rest for 1 hour.
• I separated a portion of the dough (200g approximately) and add two tablespoons of honey to make some sweet but whole balls

• After 1 hour you will notice that the dough doubled in size, at that moment we work the dough again for 5 minutes and proceed to give it the shape we want, in this case use the mold of bread for sandwich and with the dough that adds honey I made some balls, after placing the hammer in the mold we cover the dough again for 1 hour so that it grows again.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° 10 minutes, before the time of growth of the dough is reached, then put the loaves in the oven for 30 minutes (the time may vary a little depending on the bread thickness).

We take them out and ready to enjoy, we can prepare a rich sandwich with this wholemeal bread without remorse and eat the rich breakfast balls with a coffee.
