The Picha Project

It’s been a month of planning the company’s annual buka puasa event. From activities, food, drinks, and photoshoot session. Choosing the best food catering was the toughest as we had restricted amount of budget to spend on. For weeks of researching, someone suggested to us The Picha Project.

This company started in 2016 with their famous tagline “Enjoy meals, Empower lives”. The idea behind TPP is that they have refugee families on board to cook authentic meals from their respective country and that we can make a change in their lives by ordering their food. It’s a lovely yet such powerful way to empower these families.

Our companies top values has always been empowering, which their values resonates well and it’s for a good cause so we decided to order from them for our Buka Puasa Event. We ordered Roasted chicken with basmati rice, shawarma wraps, chicken biryani and chicken mandi for total 55 employee. Each was priced at RM 15 with delivery.

I had the shwarma wraps and it was good :’D just slightly small. But it tastes authentic and it comes with serviette, plastic utensils and also delivery so I think it’s worth the price, especially helping another family out.
