Celery and Quince Cream Soup

Recently, I discovered a new recipe for cream soup, which consists of very unusual seemingly at first glance ingredients. It turned out that celery and quince can be perfectly combined together and form an amazing and delicate taste that is so necessary for the soup.

I noticed this recipe by chance on the internet and it became interesting for me to make this cream soup. Indeed, I was delighted with the received taste of cream soup and will certainly share with you this recipe!

Ingredients:
1 celery root
1 large quince
15 ml of olive oil
600 ml chicken broth
1 large onion
1 garlic clove
a pinch of black pepper
a pinch of salt
a pinch of cinnamon
parsley to taste
walnut to taste

Instructions:

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil.

Peel celery and quince and cut into cubes. Finely chop the onion.

Add onion to the saucepan and fry for a few minutes. Then put celery and quince. Add salt, cinnamon and black pepper. Cook for 10-12 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.

Then add chicken broth and cook another 20 minutes.
In the bowl of the blender, add the mixture and mix everything until smooth.

Cream soup put in a deep plate. Decorate the cream soup with chopped walnuts and parsley.
