LOMI SOUP NOODLES

lomi is another noodle soup dish made of lomi noodles cooked in stock together with shrimp, meatballs, veggies, beaten eggs and cornstarch to thicken the soup. But this one is very simple. Lomi is a Filipino dish made with a variety of thick fresh egg noodles of about a quarter of an inch in diameter, soaked in lye water to give it more texture. Because of its popularity at least in the eastern part of Batangas,there are as many styles of cooking lomi as there are eateries, panciterias or restaurants offering the dish. Here in Iligan city they have a different Lomi style but me and my friends sometimes go To Fem's Bakeshop to eat Lomi and Bread.

Lomi Soup and Slice Bread is the best Partner. Way back in my High School Times me and myclassmates plan or unplanned to go To Bakeshop to order a 1 bowl of Lomi. The Big Bowl of Lomi is Good for 6 to 8 persons. Sometimes we Buy 3 Bowl of Lomi's.
