Do you have one of those extra lazy days where you don't want to dirty too many dishes, and you're even lazier to grab a pan a turn on your stove?

No, you don't have to do it overnight because sometimes you're not even sure if you'll have it the next day. When I get lazy, as in super lazy to cook my oatmeal here's my a little trick to make those rolled oats softer.

Thanks to electric water kettle, in just a few seconds, water is boiled... it makes our lives a little easier, isn't it?

This recipe I use cold milk, have you tried, cold oatmeal or should I call this a muesli? Well, whatever you call it, it is what it is, haha!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup rolled oats
a handful of nuts and dried fruits
flaxseed (optional)
hot water
dash of salt
cold milk

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients and pour boiling water, just enough to cover the whole oat mix. Stir
  • Cover with a plate and soak for three minutes
  • Add cold milk and Stir
  • Serve and enjoy!
