Best Francesinha EVER!

Francesinha is a Portuguese sandwich originally from Porto, made with bread, wet-cured ham, linguiça, fresh sausage, steak and covered with melted cheese and a hot thick tomato and beer sauce served with french fries.

I'm from Braga, a town close to Porto, so Francesinha is a very famous dish here as well. In fact, I prefer ours. We have a restaurant called ''Taberna Belga'', it's my absolute favorite! It's always full of people and you have to wait HOURS sometimes, it's that good.

I'm vegetarian so the Francesinha that you see in this picture is vegetarian. It has mushrooms and a special hamburger only made with vegetables. It's amazing! It's less strong and you can eat more chips with sauce, which is awesome as well.
