Don Carlos Iligan 🍩 | Easy Bites. Tasty Bites.
There's a new hangout place in Iligan City and if you are a fan of donuts and coffee, then it's a must that you visit this place!
Tired of the old Dunkin donuts and Mister donuts? Don't have the drive to go to Cagayan de Oro to get the delish Krispy Kreme and JCO donuts? Well, here's a quick fix for you, and for a fraction of a price at that! 🍩
Don Carlos will be opening their doors to the public tomorrow, June 11, 2018, at 9 in the morning. I had the privilege to be invited to their pre-opening ceremony as I am a part of the Iligan Bloggers Society.
They are an upcoming business that aims to level with the biggest donut industries in the world today. And while they are starting small, they aren't just something to be put on the side. Don Carlos is budding and definitely has the potential to grow bigger. The first arrays of products they introduced to us are very promising, if I may say so myself.
Here are some photos I took this afternoon:
These delectable treats are called the Durian Rivera, named after the famous Marian Rivera, witty right? The donut is durian filled and the top is a slightly toasted marshmallow. The combination is heavenly, its like you're eating a fluffy, tasty cloud. I liked this one. ❤️ It isn't overly sweet, but it's not bland, too. It's perfectly balanced so those who don't have a sweet tooth will enjoy this one as much.
But if you are not a durian fan, don't fret, there's more variety of donuts they have in store for you.
Isn't this familiar with JCO's Alcapone? This one is called Almond Moreno, haha! I really have to say that they named their donuts with the weirdest names. 😂
This one is Edu Matchano, hahaha!
This one is Heart Ubengelista 😂😂😂
And this last one is called Coffee Bryant. 😂
The place is small but very homey. It feels so comfortable that you just want to stay there all day with friends or with just yourself. The lighting is good too, there are corners in the store that is so instagrammable.
As for the prices of these donuts, I think they'll retail for 20 pesos a piece. But if you will buy a box, which contains a dozen and can be assorted, it will only cost you 180 pesos. And I think that's not bad at all. You'll be getting these quality treats for a fraction of a price compared to some others and you can share them with your friends and loved ones! 😊👍🏼
