Dinner with a colleague
Tonight I went to a restaurant with a former colleague of mine. He wanted to thank me for all those years we have worked together.
I appreciated his gesture and since he was paying I chose a nice restaurant. A restaurant he would normally skip. I guess some people see eating as a necessity instead of something which can be fun and social.
He was surprised by the excellent taste of the food and we sat for a whopping 3,5 hours. Something he wasn’t used to either. Normally he is finishing his desert within the hour.
All in all it was very nice of him to take me out for dinner and thank me in his way.
Hopefully my next colleague enjoys life as well!
