Jackfruit Party
We processed a jackfruit today!
Apparently it's the world's largest fruit.
It's a big primordial looking thing with thick bumpy skin.
@quinneaker, @noki-power, @qiqi-power, @qinoku, and I went primal on the beast.
The yellow flesh is the sweet fruity part.
The yellow fruit pods are nestled in petally bits.
We shredded it up real good.
Each pod has a seed that is edible after boiling.

I had never seen one of these fruits either! Jackfruit flesh is a popular vegetarian meat substitute in the US nowadays, and I have seen the flesh packaged and flavored, but I've never seen a whole fruit.

Sweet but not too sweet with a firm texture. @creativetruth made a comment that jackfruit is a flavor in juicy fruit gum - that's a pretty close flavor :)
