Happy feast of Nativity

Happy feast of Nativity people. For those who don't know, it's Mother Mary's birthday today. And we all celebrate this feast to honour her.
In Mangalore, we family members get together and have a small prayer before sitting down to have a veg lunch. We normally have it on banana leafs but I'm not comfortable with it so I'm having it on plate.
Oh, we also get sugarcane after prayer in church.
