HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN SALAD
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 sliced avocado
- 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
- 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 5 chopped bacon strips
- 1 small red onion, sliced
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
The steps
- Mix oil, garlic, mustard, pepper, honey and salt in a small bowl.
- Put half of the marinade over the chicken. Set aside the half of marinade for later use. Make sure both sides of chicken have covered by marinade.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Cook chicken in a large skillet over medium heat until they become brown.
- Remove from the heat and set aside.
- In a pan, add the bacon and cook until crispy.
- Drain the excess oil of chopped bacon in a paper towel.
- Add three tablespoons of water to the half of marinade and stir well.
- Slice the chicken.
- Add the tomatoes, bacon, red onion, avocado, chicken and lettuce to a bowl and pour the dressing (Honey Mustard).
- Serve and Enjoy!
