Cooker Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 2.5 pounds of chuck steak
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 3/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- small can of tomatoes
- minced garlic
- 1 1/2 cups red wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped sage
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon salt, pepper and flour.
- Put the mixture on the beef and make sure it is covered well.
- In a skillet, heat oil and sear the meat on every side until brown.
- Place the meat to a slow cooker.
- Add garlic, onion, celery, carrot, wine, tomatoes, bay leaf, parsley, sage, and 2 teaspoon salt.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
