Artichokes-not the most familiar dish in Russia, but very useful. As minced meat, you can use any meat or poultry.

You will need:

• artichokes-6 PCs;
• 1 onion;
  – a few sprigs of parsley;
• salt and pepper to taste;
• 200 gr. duck (or other) meat;
• 75 gr. cheese's;
• oil for roasting (you can use duck fat).
  Wash the artichokes and cut their tops — about 2-3 centimeters. At the base of the artichokes tear off the outer dark green leaves, diverging to the sides. With each pointed leaf of artichokes scissors cut the top - about one-third. Cut off the artichoke stems and part of the Cup so that the artichoke can be placed. With a teaspoon or fingers, remove the Central leaves in the artichokes. In the core of the artichoke there is a fleecy part - it is the inner fibers of the flower, they are also called "hay", they also need to be removed. Wipe the treated artichokes with lemon or put in acidified water so that they do not darken. It is better to do it all in gloves, so that the hands are not dark.
  Prepare the minced meat: fry onions in a pan with finely chopped duck meat, salt, add the chopped cheese, parsley and a sprig of thyme. Instead of duck you can use minced beef or chicken.
  Fill the artichokes with ready-made minced meat, pour water to the bottom of the container (about 2 cm high). Put artichokes, put in a preheated oven to 190 degrees and bake for 45 minutes. Sprinkle the artichokes with grated cheese 15 minutes before baking.
