It's still a bit white but I got so excited to see the bit of pink against the green!
It should be ready in a day or so, and there's plenty more coming from our tiny patch!

That's great!!! It's always so exciting when something finally, FINALLY bears fruit. Here's to a super productive strawberry patch!
We just got the first sweet cherries off our sweet cherry tree. Which doesn't sound like much, but over the past five years we've fought everything from a canker in the trunk to constant attacks by aphids, Japanese beetles and something that appears to be a form of blossom end rot. Getting plants to bear fruit takes practice and constant attention, that's for sure!

I can't believe your tree gave you so much trouble!! That's crazy! We get our share of aphids around the yard that's for sure! We have a more diverse area now with so many added plants and it's attracted tons of predators :)

Absolutely! I'm hoping. Fruit trees are definitely a whole new level of care from vegetables...
No doubt! I've had an apple tree in my yard that has been chewed down to a stump by my dog twice!! LoL
