A typical Pinakbet (our very own version)

PINAKBET - is a traditional food made from mixed vegetables steamed in fish or shrimp sauce. I have called it traditional since most of its ingredients are very much accessible in one's backyard. Meaning, you don't have to go to the market to buy if you already have it already in your own backyard. Believe me, it is organic and healthy at the same time.

To name a few of these mixed vegetables, these are squash, eggplant, lady finger, string beans, and bitter melon. You may also add pork cutlets or even pork or beef giniling to improve taste.

Let us all eat vegetables to achieve a longer and fuller lives. Eat healthy, it is a must....
