Sunday mood # khaman- dhokla

Hello steemit world !
Happy Sunday to all !!
Sunday is funday. Everyone wants to start Sunday morning with delicious breakfast.
So today I thought to enjoy khaman- dhokla.

Dhokla is a vegetarian food item that originates from the Indian state of Gujrat.

I tried it 3-4 times at home but couldn't get it perfect. But today I thought to try it once again and that time it's was delicious.spong was good. Even presentation is not good but taste was really good.
Practice makes a man perfect.
We need perfect batter for making perfect spongy & soft dhokla.
Let's see :

Ingredients
Gram flour
Samolina
Salt
Curd
Coriander powder
Lemon juice
Baking powder
Baking soda
Oil
Water
Curry leaves
Green chillies

How to make batter
First take two cup samolina & one cup gram flour. Mix the salt and add water. If batter seems dence add water. Keep for 60 minutes for semolina to puff up.

Now take a vessel , keep water to boil, put a stand inside it, turn on flame. Cover it up so that water boils quickly.

Now took the better & add baking soda . Pour 1 tsp water over it. Mix it well.

Take a container for making dhokla , Grease with oil, put the batter in it, tap and make it even.

As water boils, put the dhokla container in water, cover & cook it for 20 minutes, then check dhokla.

When ready , take out the container.

It's look like it.

How to make tadka
For tempering, heat tadka pan, put oil then add black mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies.

Put tadka over dhokla.


Soft & spongy dhokla is ready. Serve it with favorite chutney and enjoy it.
