#ULOG 16 : MENUS FOR MY GRANDSON'S 4th BIRTHDAY AWAY FROM HOME

Hi there Steemians, I would like to show my simple menus during my grandson's 4th birthday.

My youngest son along with his wife and their only son came home to attend the christening of their first cousin's baby girl.

By chance, it will be their son's 4th birthday the following day so they opted to prepare something for that day. I gave them the list of each recipe needed. I enjoy cooking especially when the kids are around.

Pinoys usually prepare their favorite delicacy: the Jamonada and Humba. My kids loved these recipes. They would say 'Ang walang kamatayang jamonada ni mama!'😅 😍

Pastas such as Spaghetti, Bam-i and/or Carbonara are usually served for 'good luck' and 'long life' hence I also prepared them.

Vegetable lumpia is one of the most common preparation.

And lastly, the so-called 'Malagkit /Suman/ or commonly called 'BIKO' is usually prepared in the province.

It was not the usual children's party due to time constraint but still he was happy not because of what lola prepared but rather it was because he had seen his two cousins. They are close to each other despite the distance that separates them.

This is a site that melts my heart.
