Chances of winning the English Premier League

Twenty-nine matches has been played so far with just nine matches left and a winner hasn't been revealed yet. Only twenty-six matches has been played in Seria A and Juventus has won the league already. Before now, Liverpool has a big chance of winning, but their yesterday's result placed Manchester City ahead. It's just one point between them, but what are the chances of any of them winning the league? Tottenham shouldn't be ruled out yet, right? They are in the third place with 61 points. I believe they have a slight chance of winning the league too.

With nine matches left, all teams are left to fight for 27 points. If Tottenham wins all her remaining matches, they will have 88 points in total. 88 points will give them the league if Manchester City and Liverpool can't win more than two matches in their remaining matches. It's almost impossible, but we can't rule out the chances of it happening. Okay, let's focus on Manchester City and Liverpool. They are the ones with possible chances.

Liverpool hasn't played all the big teams. They are still left with Chelsea and Tottenham. Manchester City still have Manchester United and Tottenham in their coming fixtures too. Both teams should be cautious right now. None of their opponents would want them to win. In fact they would do anything to see them lose. Manchester United and Chelsea are still struggling to finish in the top four, so City and the reds isn't safe yet. But congrats to Guardiola for pushing his team to the top spot. If he wins the league, he would be setting a record. No team has won EPL back to back. Manchester City would be the first if they win. Let's hope Liverpool stops them. The reds hasn't won EPL either. Would their dreams come true this year? Well, it's just a matter of time to find out.
