We've watched our favorite players play for their clubs, it will be fun watching them play for their country, too. Most of them should be in their country right now preparing for the competitions in their continent. Just as Europe and Africa will be hosting theirs, South Americans is hosting theirs, too, and it's called the the Copa America. The competition will begin next week, Saturday to be precise. There's no favorites to win it for now; Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile are coming out strong and we never can tell, one of the other teams might just surprise us. Well, Chile won the last two trophies, so all eyes are on them. Argentina were the runner up in both competitions, I'm guessing they won't allow another defeat if that opportunities comes knocking again.

Only 12 teams will be participating, meaning there are just three groups available. The first two in each group will advance to the next stage, and two teams from the remaining will be picked to join them based on how well they performed. There will be no quarter final without eight teams, so two teams will definitely join them. Let's look at all the teams available.

Group A

Brazil are the favorites to top this group but we never can tell. It's football and anything happens. They will be taking on Bolivia first, while Venezuela will be left to play against Peru. Peru is another team to watch out for in this group. They showed great strength in the last world cup qualifiers.

Group B

This time, Argentina will be playing against Colombia, another dangerous team in the competition. Although, they haven't done much in South America competitions despite the number of great players they have, but they are still a contender to take note of. Paraguay will take oh Quatar the following day to wrap up the first matches in group B. This is the most dangerous group so far; we can't tell who or who will not qualify.

Group C

Okay, this group is also unpredictable. We've seen how dangerous these four teams are. Uruguay are the favorites here, but Chile still remains the defending champion. Japan and Ecuador are no joke either, so this group is as strong as group B. Uruguay and Ecuador will be playing first while Chile will take on Japan.

The competition is almost here and will be hosted in Brazil. Who are you counting on winning? Let me see your ideas and predictions below.
