Arsenal in the news today

Hello internet people, you're all welcome to another edition of Arsenal from around the world. On the news today, we have some crap and not so much crap. There's a bunch of made up stories flying around as usual but that's nothing new, particularly because we're in transfer season.

In keeping with the recycling of transfer news theme, there's been a lot of talk about a certain Saliba, with the Not so Independent asserting that the deal to sign the 18-year old William Saliba from St. Ettiene has already been completed. the news further states that the youngster will then be loaned back to the French outfit for one year before joining up with the Arsenal squad. Okay, I'm all about building for the future but if there's any truth to this then I have to question the logic; the defence was in shambles last season, so immediate solutions should be focused, spending the reported 25million pounds on another youngster after already investing 6m pounds from our alleged thin budget (40-45m pounds) seems a bit bunkers. It is Arsenal we're talking about anyways, so let's see how this progresses.

The Kierran Tierney story isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Depending on your source, he's either already one foot inside the club or maybe not, but that probably doesn't matter to him at the moment because he will be fully focused on Celtic's champions' league qualifier against Sareveja like Football Scotland reports. The Scottish left back has constantly been linked to the gunners for virtually through out the transfer window and if there's any truth behind any of the reported enquiries and bids, this deal will most likely go down the wire.
