MAN UNITED MATCH REVIEW

Man United played Leicester City yesterday and won the match 2-1. There were goals from Luke Shaw (MOM), Paul Pogba (pen) and Vardy - unfortunately for the foxes it was only to be a consolation goal.

Here is the match review in more detail...

The game got off to a dramatic start as Leicester gave away a hand ball in the penalty area after only three minutes! Paul Pogba was then the man to step up to the challange and cooly slotted away the ball into the top right hand corner as if it was just any premier league game - no problem and this gave Man united a 1-0 lead...

Leicester then took a few punches at Man Untied with Ichenacho coming close to acoring in the 15th minuet as the ball was flicked into the area he hit it along the floor and almost rolled into the goal, although was flagged for offside. Leicester then continued to dominate the first half (shots wise) and really put pressure on Untd who led going into the 2nd half...

Come second half Fred recives a yellow card in min 51 for diving - rightly so! Alexis Sanchez soon after set up Mata outside the penalty area - although he missed the low shot and went slightly wide of goal. In the 75th min Gray forced De Gea into a great save as Leicester continued to break with their pace. Lukaku then missed an absolute sitter in the 77th min as play reversed.Although come the 82nd min the game would be set asleep by shaw who produced a fine goal after the amount of criticism he has recived - it was good for the lad to get a goal.

Play would then resume with Leicester attacking until the finally get what they deserve - a goal. Coming courtesy of Jamie Vardy, a scruffy header but a goal is a goal - although it would only be a consolation goal as it occured in the 92nd min...

So well done to Man U with the great start to the season a good 3 points although it is obvious that the season will not be plain sailing - the board troubles may boil over...
