Fekir close to join Chelsea this summer!
After the risen reports that Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata will leave the London team to return to Juventus, now new sources from France indicate that Lyon striker Nabil Fekir will strengthen Chelsea's attacking force. Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are also following the situation around the French international. The reported fee is around £60m.
Fekir is an Olympique Lyonnais youth player and made is debut in the 2013/14 Champions League playoffs against Real Sociedad. Since then, Fekir has made 148 total appearances in all competitions and has scored 55 goals, 21 of which were scored this season.
He also has 10 matches for the French team with his first goal scored in 2015 against Belgium in a friendly match. He has won the 2014/15 UNFP Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year, was chosen as the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Month in October 2017 and was included in the 2014/15 UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year. He is currently the captain of Lyon.
