Still no progress on Sterling new contract
Manchester City's winger Raheem Sterling has still not penned a new contract with the Citizens as his contract is due to expire in the summer of 2020. The dispute between the England international and the Premier League champion is over the wage of the player.
The club is currently stalling the situation as they do not agree with the terms set by Sterling. Reportedly, both sides are patient as to resolve the issue.
Sterling joined Manchester City from Liverpool back in 2015 and since then has made 101 Premier League appearances and has scored 34 goals with 1 Premier League cup won and 1 Football League Cup back in the 2015/16 season.
