Premier League 2017/2018 In Review

Hello guys, @osigbhemeh here with the review of the Premier league for the 2017/2018 season that ended yesterday with Manchester City crowned champions.

Swansea City, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion were the three teams that were relegated to the championship after a poor season. While Chelsea missed out on the Champions league after Newcastle defeated them by three goals to nill. The teams coming to the Premier League for the 2018/2019 season are Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff city and either of Fulham, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Derby County after their play-offs.

The four teams that qualified for the European competition are the Manchester clubs, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool while the teams that qualified for the Europa League are Chelsea and Arsenal.

New Premier League champions Manchester City added the Carling Cup trophy to their remarkable season.
While Chelsea and Manchester United will have to meet at the Emirates Cup finals at Wembley later this month.
Liverpool's only hope for a silverware this season is the champions league finals against Spanish giant Real Madrid.

The individual awards in the Premier League are:

Highest goal scorer - Mohammed salah
Most assists - Kevin De Bruyne
Golden gloves- David De Gea.

Burnley 1-2 Bournemouth
Crystal Palace 2-0 West Brom
Huddersfield 0-1 Arsenal
Liverpool 4-0 Brighton
Manchester United 1-0 Watford
Newcastle United 3-0 Chelsea
Southampton 0-1 Manchester City
Swansea City 1-2 Stoke City
Tottenham 5-4 Leicester City
West Ham 3-1 Everton
