Kane Pledges Future To Spurs Until 2024

Tottenham striker, Harry Kane has signed a new six-year contract to keep him at the club until 2024, the club announced officially on microb-logging site, twitter.

The deal which is the longest deal in the Premier League is reported to have doubled the wages he receives from the contract he signed in 2016 at £100,000 weekly.

Kane has established himself as one of the finest finishers in the globe in recent seasons, winning the Premier League Golden Boot in two consecutive seasons, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 before netting 41 times in 48 games in the just concluded season.

The 24-year old has also been named by Gareth Southgate as the man to captain the Three Lions to the World Cup in Russia.

Kane follows the footsteps of his Manager with whom he has enjoyed a flourishing relationship, Mauricio Pochettino who also signed a new five-year contract towards the end of May to squash suggestions of advances from Real Madrid and makes him one of the highest paid coaches in the Premier League.

The English man has decided to stay put in England, having earlier stated his desire to surpass Alan Shearer's record of 260 goals in the Premier League of which he is currently on 104.

He also is currently Tottenham's sixth all time goal scorer, three behind fifth place, Jermain Defoe and would need 126 more goals to overtake Jimmy Greaves as Tottenham's all time leading goal scorer with 266 goals. I'm all, he has score 140 goals for Spurs in 213 games.
