PSG Players Get New Rules, To Salute Fans After Every Match

French champions, Paris Saint Germain have reportedly included a new clause in the contract of their players to serve as checks for the overall behaviour.

Prior to this moment, clubs in France are not allowed to fine their own players even when the player breaches a rule or code of conduct of the club.

This is opposed to what is obtained in the English Premier League for instance. Players can get fined for coming late to training, displaying lack of respect to the club in public.

PSG have now included a clause in their players' contract with a 15-20 grading system which would be used to assess their overall behaviour.

The parameters to be used in the scale includes but not limited to arriving early at training, respect for other personnel involved in the game like the club officials, sponsors etc.

The new clause also includes that players would applaud their fans after each match although it has been pointed that this particular one is not a major clause.

So far, only Serge Aurier bhai been subject to the clause and Marco Veratti could also join after been caught by the authorities for driving while drunk last week.

While abiding by this rules do not earn the players additional salary or bonus, a player who fails to meet the required points would see between 5-15% of his salary deducted and fund generated would be donated to the PSG Foundation.
